Welcome all to the 99th Annual Scarborough Angling Festival, giving nine days of competition from the Shore, Boats and Kayaks
Once again the premier shore event is The All England Codling Championship with excellent cash prizes, several Silver Trophies and many other good prizes to be won.
The Scarborough Kayak Championship last year was a great success and is to be repeated this year hopefully with the same good weather.
All competitors are requested to read the General Rules and Special Rules carefully, if you have any queries, please consult the Secretary or any other Committee member.
Unfortunately Robin Jackson passed away on the 25th February 2009. He was a family man, a great friend and top sportsman. Over the years Robin was a very good angler, winning numerous competitions and cups. For many years he has supported the Angling Festival and was a respected patron who will be sadly missed.
The Committee members, officials and myself would like to thank all sponsors, donors of prizes, advertisers, trade dealers, competitors and everyone who has helped make this a successful Festival
