Day 1 SATURDAY 20th SEPTEMBER EVENT 2

JUNIOR PARR COMPETITION

ALL COMPETITORS MUST REGISTER AT THE TOLL HOUSE FROM 8.00AM.

Entrance Fee 50p

Fishing 9.00am to 11.00am High Water 7.47 5.77 Metres

Weigh in not later than 11.30am

NO FISHING ALLOWED BEFORE 9.00am.

Winning competitors to have choice of prizes. All competitors will receive a prize.

RULES

1. All competitors must be over 6 years, but under 14 years.

2. This event does not count for Junior Angler of the Week Award.

3. Competitors must hook and land fish. Assistance may only be given to bait, cast and unravel entangled lines.

4. Competitors MUST fish from one of the following piers.

a) West Pier, (Lifeboat house to the broad steps only.)

b) Vincent Pier. (Up to the bridge)

c) East Pier( Harbour side only)

All other areas are out of bounds. Including Fish Market, North Wharf, Golden Ball & Sandside

Slipways, Lighthouse Pier & Marine Drive

Greatest Weight of Fish

Winning Competitor receives the “PEARSON TROPHY” with one of the following prizes kindly donated by:

Heaviest Single Fish (Competitor under 10 year olds):

The “INTREPID” Trophy and £5 presented by the Festival Committee.

Heaviest Weight of Fish (Competitor under 10 year olds):

The “KNIGHT” Trophy and £5 presented by the Festival Committee.

Greatest Number of Parrs Only:

The “Susan Massheder” Trophy and Souvenir Cup.

Greatest Number of Parrs (Competitor under 10 Year Olds):

The “PRITCHARD CUP” and £5 presented by The Festival Committee

Greatest Weight of Fish taken by a girl Competitor:
